The appearance date on your citation is not a trial date. It is the deadline date by which you must “appear” to let the court know how you want to take care of your case. You do not need to appear in person, but may make an appearance by mail or online.

Rules for the Courtroom:

Proper attire is required.  No shorts, hats, tank tops or flip flops.

Electronic devices are permitted, however, all devices must be on silent/vibrate mode.  Do not make
or receive phone calls in the courtroom.

Food or drinks are not permitted in the courtroom or in the mediation areas.

Filming or videotaping is prohibited without prior approval from the court.
