Richard Schmidt

Richard Schmidt has served Harris County for more than thirty years. Since 1984, he has served as Chief Clerk of the Justice Court in Precinct Four, Position One. Serving a large portion of North Harris County, the court is one of the largest and most dynamic of its kind in the State of Texas.

A fifth generation Texan, Richard graduated from Spring High School, and he holds earned degrees from Lone Star College and Sam Houston State University.
